Dr. Lee has had a strong commitment to giving back through volunteer work locally and internationally. He began this journey while still a dental student and at the time he didn’t realize what he got himself into when he signed up for his first trip to Brazil. He lived on a boat for 10 days in a hammock, 15 hours down the Amazon River providing oral surgery in a hut to the local villagers. That trip eventually ignited a fire and he has since traveled to multiple countries, including Vietnam, Nicaragua, and Philippines to provide his expertise in performing critical surgeries. Since 2007, Dr. Lee has been traveling to the Philippines with the local Medical Society to provide procedures such as cleft lip and palate surgery, head and neck tumor surgery, and thyroid surgery and has completed hundreds of these surgeries during these trips. His commitment to his community also extends locally as he has provided many pro bono facial reconstructive surgeries through his affiliation with the local Trauma Center. Dr. Lee’s dedication to serving those in need is a core value that he brings to his work as a surgeon and a leader in the field.
With Dr. Lee’s unique training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and microvascular surgery, he has been able to pave a successful practice that has encompassed all facets of the specialty. Dr. Lee has represented the profession as one of the first single degree OMFS perform to Head and Neck and microvascular surgery in several major hospitals in the USA. He has demonstrated his expertise in a wide range of surgical procedures, from oral cancer, orthognathic, TMJ, dentoalveolar, trauma and implant surgery. Currently, he is dedicated to utilizing his skills in dental implant full arch reconstruction, oral surgery and facial trauma surgery and he is excited to culminate this surgical expertise to serve patients at New Teeth Now
Dr. Lee is happily married with two wonderful children. He has had a passion for adventure since childhood and has surfed/foiled, rock climbed, ski mountaineered in remote destinations all over the world. He now loves bringing that sense of exploration to his family and when he’s not in the operating room you will find him with his family rocking climbing and skiing out West or in Canada, hiking mountains or surfing Jax beach with his kids.
